You'll be personally responsible for about 44 people accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior this year if you'll prayerfully consider partnering with us to sponsor a JESUS Film Team.

For only $11 a month OR a one time gift of $132 OR by simply switching to a Christian Internet service provider for your e-mail and web surfing (see below), you'll be partnering with us to sponsor a JESUS Film Team that shows the JESUS Film throughout the year and which statistically results in about 5,000 people making the decision to accept Jesus as his or her personal Savior this year. Churches are then being established to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Now that's exciting.

Let me tell you a little bit more about the JESUS Film...

The concept for the JESUS Film was developed by Dr. Bill Bright and Campus Crusade for Christ. It is the most accurate film ever made on Jesus' life. It is based entirely on the Gospel of Luke. Jesus only speaks the words found in Scripture. All of the events in the film were shot on location where the actual events were believed to have occured.

God has chosen to truly bless and use the JESUS Film around the world in these last days. It is the most viewed film of all time. I believe God has used it in incredible ways because of its faithfulness to the Word of God. Another is the fact that about 50% of the world's population can't read. As of the end of April 2002, the JESUS Film has been translated into 745 languages!

Can you imagine the impact the JESUS Film would have on you if you couldn't read or write and all of the sudden you saw and heard Jesus for the first time in your own language? It is an incredible experience.

You can also use the JESUS Film in video format to help evangelize your neighborhood. There is a Children's Version available for $10 each.

Now, let me explain how this came about...

I attended a "Harvest Briefing" in Seattle, Washington, that was hosted by Harvest Partners/The JESUS Film Partnership. They presented the challenge of supporting a JESUS Film team for $15,000 a year which would result in about 5,000 people coming to Christ!

SPECIAL NOTE: They reported that it only costs $1 to show the JESUS Film to three people. Based on their film team reports, on average, one person indicates a decision to accept Jesus as his or her personal Savior for every $3 given to support the film teams who bring the film to these people.

If you're like me, you'll instantly recognize that the numbers presented above are an incredible investment in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Well, $15,000 to sponsor a JESUS Film Team seemed like an impossible task to raise on my own, but a plan began to unfold in my brain over the past several weeks (I'm a little slow)...

If one hundred thirteen (113) of us would partner together to sponsor a JESUS Film Team and give a $132 gift for the year in some way, together we would be able come up with the needed $15,000. Imagine about 5,000 people coming to know Jesus as their Savior partially because of us...

I'm hoping that with your help, this goal will be relatively easy to accomplish. In fact, the very first person I mentioned this plan to got so excited he committed to $11 a month over the next year on-the-spot.

Please seriously pray and consider joining with me in sponsoring a JESUS Film Team! I believe it will be fun, rewarding, and an exciting adventure together as we hear stories of how God is at work. We won't have a specific film team assigned to us until we are close to raising the $15,000 needed, so the initial monies raised will go to The JESUS Film Partnership to help other film teams as needed. As soon as we reach our $15,000 goal we'll have our own JESUS Film Team assigned to us and enjoy specific reports.

Several Options for Participation...

Here's a creative idea...

I approached the Christian gentleman who owns ReachONE Internet, the largest Internet Service company in Thurston County, Washington, and presented him with a proposal. He's willing to donate fifty percent (50%) of your monthly payment for internet service to help sponsor our JESUS Film Team. That means half of your $21.95 you pay each month for internet service from ReachONE Internet (about $11 a month or $132 for the year) will go to help our JESUS Film Team!

In other words, just by subscribing to ReachONE's service, you will have contributed your $132 for the year and be personally responsible for about 44 people coming to know Jesus Christ. It's a no brainer.

Of course, if you already have internet service and don't want to switch to ReachONE Internet or if ReachONE does not provide service in your area, then you can still participate in the excitement by simply donating $132 online or by snail mail one time or online for $11 a month. The online methods utilize PayPal and the donations will be channeled through The Helstrom Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so you will be able to report the giving on your IRS return.

It's easy to change e-mail addresses. Send everyone on your e-mail list what your new e-mail address is with ReachONE, keep your old service for about a month and everyone who uses your old e-mail address for that month, just send them a quick note telling them to change it to your new ReachONE address.

1) Change over your dialup connection to ReachONE Internet for $21.95 a month and half of your monthly will go toward our JESUS Film Team, so it's like you giving $132. 4) Contribute online or send a check for any amount you wish to give, it will all help, whether it is a small or large gift. Keep in mind that for every $3 you donate, one person will come to know Christ. Pretty incredible.

All of us partnering together can make a difference for Christ. Let's rejoice that our names are written in heaven and let's help others get their names written down as well through this JESUS Film Team sponsorship opportunity.
